Life Sciences Collaborative – Boston March Meeting
This past Tuesday evening our Life Sciences Collaborative – Boston chapter met for the March meeting at Cushman and Wakefield’s office. Thanks to our member, Mark Tepper, PhD for inviting Tod Woolf Woolf, Ph.D, Executive Director of Technology Ventures Office of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, as our guest presenter. To view Tod’s bio, please click on the following link: https://lnkd.in/eiqEVmkY .
As you can see from his profile, Tod has 25 years experience as an entrepreneur and leader of Research, Business Development and Technology Transfer. Some of the topics Tod discussed included:
– Discuss the business terms of licenses to spinouts.
– Funding programs with pharma, VCs and the state government to promote translational research at BILH
– Venture Mentor program
– How they promote their technologies to biopharma and investors
As always, it was about learning and a lot of fun. Let me know if you’re an investor or leader of a life sciences company and want to join one of our chapters in Boston, Princeton or Philadelphia.
