Innovators and Investors January Discussion Explores Lessons Learned Through Business Experience
The Innovators and Investors group held its January Zoom meeting, bringing members together for a candid, experience-driven discussion. The session reflected the group’s core purpose: creating a trusted forum where accomplished founders, investors, and board members learn from one another through shared experience.
The meeting topic, “Lessons Learned from Mistakes in Business,” sparked an open and thoughtful exchange among members who have built and sold companies, continue to invest actively, and serve on boards of both private and public organizations.
Rather than theoretical discussion, the conversation focused on real-world lessons—what worked, what didn’t, and how experience informs better decision-making over time. Members shared practical insight drawn from operating companies, navigating growth, managing risk, and guiding organizations through critical moments.
The Innovators and Investors community was also pleased to welcome several new members:
Each brings valuable perspective and experience that strengthens the depth and diversity of the group’s conversations.
As the year unfolds, Innovators and Investors remain committed to fostering candid dialogue, shared learning, and meaningful relationships among its members. These discussions continue to provide perspective, insight, and connection for leaders who are actively building, investing in, and advising companies.
